As Christmas is drawing near, Jakarta hotels have prepared a plethora of packages to celebrate the year-end holiday.
Those looking for a place to celebrate may consult the list below:
Mandarin Oriental
Situated in the heart of Jakarta, Mandarin Oriental is offering Christmas brunch, dinner and buffet packages.
The brunch and dinner will take place in a French restaurant called Lyon. For a Christmas brunch that does not include alcohol, the package costs Rp 599,000 (US$45.03) per person. For dinner, the price is Rp 630,000 per person. For the Christmas buffet, guests can head to the Cinnamon restaurant for a meal that costs Rp 395,000 per person.
Raffles Jakarta
The five-star Raffles Jakarta in Ciputra World 1, South Jakarta, will have a special Christmas buffet. The promotion is slated to run from Dec. 24-25 at the Arts Cafe with starting price of Rp 688,000 per person.
Meanwhile, throughout this month, the hotel's bar is serving a festive high tea. Priced at Rp 350,000 for two people, the high tea includes a tea by TWG, mini beef cheek and marmite pie, cinnamon scones, apple and cinnamon strudel with mascarpone cheese and dundee fruit cake.
In addition to the food packages, the establishment is also offering Christmas goodies priced from Rp 850,000 to Rp 2,000,000. For every purchase of goodies, the hotel will donate Rp 50,000 to Yayasan Sinar Pelangi.

Fairmont Jakarta
Those who want to celebrate Christmas in the Senayan area in Central Jakarta should consider Fairmont Jakarta. This holiday season, the hotel's Spectrum restaurant is offering Christmas dinner and brunch buffets with starting price of Rp 699,000 and Rp 675,000 per person, respectively.
Alternatively, guests can make their way to Sapori Deli to enjoy an Italian Christmas dinner and brunch. The promotion is priced at Rp 388,000 per person.
Furthermore, the hotel's Peacock Lounge is hosting an afternoon tea featuring Christmas-themed desserts throughout this month. The sweet treat is priced at Rp 499,000 per set for two people.
DoubleTree by Hilton Diponegoro
This festive season, OPEN Restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton Diponegoro in Central Jakarta is having a special promotion for Christmas dinner and brunch for Rp 458,000 per person. During the Christmas day brunch, guests will be granted access to the hotel's swimming pool and Kids Club.
Meanwhile, its Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar, which is located on the third floor, will also be hosting a Christmas eve dinner with starting price of Rp 488,000 per person. (kes)
