ollowing a bicycle accident in London on Sunday, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is reportedly postponing some of his tour dates in Asia.
The singer of “Shape of You” and “Perfect” announced the news on Tuesday via Instagram.
“A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future,” read the statement. “Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that.”

No update is yet available regarding his upcoming concerts in the Philippines and Indonesia, which fall during the latter leg of his tour on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9, respectively.
Sheeran was scheduled to kick off his Asian tour on Sunday at Taiwan's Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall. On his official website, the singer suggests that fans that have already purchased tickets wait for more information on upcoming tour dates and rescheduling.
According to mirror.co.uk, Sheeran was riding a bicycle in London when he was hit by a car. (kes)
