n an effort to revamp its brand, Aryaduta Hotel Group has called on high-fashion designer Sebastian Gunawan to collaborate on a new uniform concept.

In a recent press release, the hotel management said Sebastian's new uniform design successfully combined his imagination with Aryaduta's vision "to create a globally competitive iconic Indonesian hotel brand." The uniform features a simple pattern set against a black suit.

In addition, to complete the transformation, Aryaduta said it had also asked Sebastian to collaborate with La Bottega to create a unique scent to reflect the hotel experience. Sebastian has named the essence Bamboo & Lily.

"We wanted to create a fresh and gentle tropical aroma, combining bamboo with the jasmine scent," Sebastian said as quoted in the statement.

Aryaduta Hotel Group CEO Anthony Ross said the company implemented major changes and that the result of the collaboration between Sebastian and La Bottega created a new look and feel in line with the hotel's vision of mixing iconic Indonesian style with contemporary tastes.

"La Bottega fits perfectly with Sebastian Gunawan's design, both modern and impressive, one on the pattern, one on the scent -- it really works," Ross said. (liz/kes)
