fter postponing in February, American rock band Paramore has announced Aug. 25 as the new date for its concert at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) hall in BSD, Tangerang, Banten.
“Finally! Can’t wait to hang out with you. Thanks for waiting,” read a post on the band's Twitter account on Wednesday.

The concert was initially scheduled for Feb. 16, but on that day, vocalist Hayley Williams announced the postponement on Facebook, saying she was “fighting a throat and upper-respiratory infection for the last two days”.

The band also shared photos of fans who waited at the venue that day. “We love you guys. [We’re] so sorry to everyone who was running to the show tonight,” read the post. “Thanks for your understanding and the get well soons. Big love to the doctors in here in Jakarta for all their help.”
The band’s sold-out Manila concert has also been rescheduled to Aug. 23. (wir/kes)
