ootwear brand Wakai has teamed up with New York-based artist Jeremyville to launch a new collection, featuring shoes, apparel and accessories.
The Australia-born artist is recognized for his colorful illustrations and thought-provoking messages. His works have been exhibited around the globe, including at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburg, United States, La Casa Encendida Museum in Madrid, Spain, and the Madre Museum in Napoli, Italy.
Wakai senior product manager Permata Yudha expressed his happiness over the newly launched collaboration, saying the collection illustrated Wakai’s tagline: “Cheers for Life”.

He said in a statement that since its beginnings the brand has always focused on creativity and the arts.
Wakai is known for its comfortable slip-on shoes. Its collections commonly feature playful colors, which are similar to Jeremyville’s colorful works.
“We believe that each individual has [his or her] colors. Through this collaboration, we wanted to ask everyone to celebrate the diversity of colors in life,” he added.
