Michael Jackson estate releases concert film on YouTube as 'Leaving Neverland' airs
The Jackson estate released two concert films of Michael Jackson on YouTube, just as the documentary "Leaving Neverland" aired on HBO.

s the documentary Leaving Neverland, which alleges that Michael Jackson sexually abused two boys, aired on HBO on March 4, the singer's estate released a concert film on YouTube.
The estate posted the film’s link on Twitter, announcing that the “Live in Bucharest” and “Live at Wembley Stadium” would be available for a limited time.

Leaving Neverland is a two-part documentary that featured Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who said the singer molested them when they were 7 and 10 years old, respectively.

The documentary premiered this year at Sundance Film festival in Utah. After the documentary's first part aired on Monday, part two followed the night after with host Oprah Winfrey interviewing the subjects and the film director Dan Reed.
“We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice,” Jackson´s estate explained.
Variety reported that the estate had filed a US$100 million lawsuit against HBO over claims that "Leaving Neverland violates a non-disparagement clause in the contract over the broadcast rights to the Bucharest concert”. (sop/wng)
