Rich Brian among performers at Jakarta's Spotify On Stage in October

ndonesian rapper Rich Brian will be among the performers to grace the third Spotify On Stage slated to be held at JIExpo Hall Kemayoran in Central Jakarta on Oct. 4.

Other artists highlighted at the event are K-pop groups (G)I-DLE and ATEEZ, and Indonesian talents like Arsy Widianto, Brisia Jodie, Marion Jola and Rizky Febian.

Gautam Talwar, managing director, Spotify Southeast Asia, said in a statement that Spotify On Stage is a live music event like no other, where it brings users up close and personal with some of today's most exciting artists in an arena full of their biggest fans.

"We know that users love Spotify for the way it enables them to discover music and culture and Spotify On Stage showcases that in a live experience,” said Talwar.

Rich Brian is said to be the most streamed hip hop artist on Spotify in Indonesia. He recently collaborated with the company to hold an interactive exhibition in Jakarta to celebrate the launch of his newest album, The Sailor.

"Following the success of 'The Sailor Experience' exhibition with Spotify in Jakarta, I cannot wait to return to the stage and perform for my fans in Indonesia," said Rich Brian in the statement. 

Most popular songs from the artists are currently available on Spotify On Stage JKT 2019 playlist.

Additionally, fans will also have the opportunity to interact with the performers through Twitter @SpotifyID.

Sales for a limited number of premium tickets to the event begins on Thursday. Meanwhile general tickets will be priced at Rp 450,000 (US$32) and will be available online starting Friday. (ran/kes)
