Online festival Musim Seni Salihara will include the latest works of notable performance artists and discussions.
Art community Salihara is set to hold online festival Musim Seni Salihara (Salihara’s Art Season) from Sept. 12 to Oct. 11.
According to a press release, the festival will include the latest works of notable performance artists and discussions on performance art. It will also present a visual arts catalogue that contains every installation that graced the Salihara Art Center from 2008 to 2018.
Artists that will take part in the festival include Melati Suryodarmo, who will present a digital lecture on her reflection of Indonesian dances. Actors Muhammad Khan and Putri Ayudya will present their readings on the country’s most notable poets such as Sapardi Djoko Damono and Subagio Sastrowardoyo. Actor Jim Adhi Limas will talk about French playwright Roland Dubillard, who is famous for his magnum opus Les Diablogue.

Contemporary musicians Gatot Danar Sulistyanto, Gema Swaratyagita and Nursalim Yadi Anugerah, as well as three young choreographers, Ayu Permata, Eyi Lesar and Riyo Tulus Pernando, will also perform.
