Greysia Polii and Nitya Krishinda will play in the finals for the first time after winning their semifinal match at the Singaporean Open badminton tournament on Saturday.
At the Singapore Indoor Stadium, The Indonesian women's doubles pair defeated Danish duo Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Lena Fier Kristiansen 22-20, 21-12.
Indonesia trailed 17-20 in the opening game, before clawing their way up, capitalizing on the Danes' unforced errors.
The second game was a one-way affair with the Indonesians racing unopposed to 12-4 before sealing the deal 21-12.
Greysia/Nitya will face China's Zhang Yawen/Zhao Tingting in the final. The Chinese booked their spot in the final with a 22-20, 21-18 win over South Korea's Ha Jung-eun/Kim Min-jung.
Indonesia men's doubles team, world No. 1 Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan, will also advance to the finals. The pair drubbed Denmark's Lars Paaske and Jonas Rasmussen 21-12, 21-16 in 29 minutes.
Nova/Liliyana, Indonesia's mixed doubles pair and the tournament's top seeds, however, went down to sixth seeded Chinese pair Xie Zhong Bo/Zhang Yawen 22-20, 22-20.
Nova/Liliyana were denied game point in the opener. Their Chinese opponents instead lunged ahead four points on the trot.
"We played bad today. In fact, they did not play well either, but toward the end of each game we rushed and it proved self-destructive," Nova said to Antara.
Zhong Bo/Yang Wen will now meet fellow Chinese Zheng Bo/Jin Ma, who overcame Korea's Lee Yong-dae/Lee Hyo-jung 21-14, 21-18, in the mixed-doubles final.
Kido/Hendra will meanwhile tackle Anthony Clark/Nathan Robertson. The Englishmen stopped Chen Hung Lin/Lin Yu Lang of Taiwan 21-19, 21-19.
The men's singles final will feature Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand against Chen Jin of China while the women's singles final will be an all-Chinese affair with Zhou Mi challenging Xie Xingfang.
