AKARTA: Indonesian pencak silat athlete Ni Luh Putu Spyanawati added a silver to the country's medal tally at the Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam on Thursday.

According to the event's official website, info.vaigoc2009.com, on Thursday, Spyanawati won silver in the pencak silat women's singles event, while the gold medal went to Singapore's Rabiatul Adawiyah Yusak.

The Indonesian pencak silat squad has so far contributed a silver and two bronze medals.

Indonesia is currently in 11th spot in the medal tally, with three gold, two silver and 13 bronze medals at the third Asian Indoor Games, which run until Nov. 8. - JP
