JAKARTA: Presenter Cut Tari who allegedly features in one of the controversial sex videos with Peterpan vocalist Nazril “Ariel” Ilham, is now using the service of prominent lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea to represent her.
Hotman confirmed through sms to okezone.com of being Cut Tari’s legal representative.
Cut Tari, a commercial model and presenter of a gossip show of one of the private television stations, has denied being in the video.
The police have announced that they would declare presenters Luna Maya, Ariel’s girlfriend, also allegedly featuring in the sex videos, and Cut Tari suspects in connection with the video scandal after they find “appropriate” articles in the Criminal Code to charge the two celebrities.
A National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Marwoto Soeto said last week investigators expected to find the articles so that they could name the celebrities suspects.
The Police has named Ariel as suspect under a controversial anti-pornography law. — JP
