Bojonegoro Tourism and Cultural Hall in East Java received a warm welcome from visitors.
“The exhibition was held in Bojonegoro because a vertebrae archeological fossil was found here,” Bandung Geology Museum officer Resti Sari Irawati said as quoted by Antara.
The collection consists of nine types of igneous rocks, metamorphic rock and sedimentary rock as well as metal and non-metal mineral materials. A collection of ancient fossils from the Bojonegoro Archeology Council is also on display.
She said the exhibition could also familiarize the visitors with archeological findings that showed life in ancient times.
Meanwhile, hundreds of students visited the exhibition (see photo) to see the items on display and take notes on the explanation. —JP
