AKARTA: Singer Mayangsari says she has retired from the professional world after marrying former president Soeharto’s son Bambang Trihatmodjo.
“I still like to sing for my children, my husband and my family,” she said Monday in Jakarta as quoted by tribunnews.com.
She said she felt less confident about the prospect of returning to the professional world, partly because she is seeing prettier and better new artists.
“I stepped back of course. Besides, when I had a career I worked very hard ... now I can only support,”
Mayangsari said.
