Starbucks launches Blonde Roast Coffee

offee sourcing, roasting and blending expert Starbucks recently announced the latest product in its coffee line: a “blonde” roast, its lightest offering yet. The Starbucks Blonde Roast extends Starbucks Roast Spectrum with an entirely new coffee category that features
subtle and approachable flavors.

Starbucks’ master roasters took some of the world’s finest Arabica beans and explored more than 80 recipes before selecting the final coffees for the “blonde”. To draw its soft flavors, the “blonde” has a shorter roast time, creating a premium, approachable and perfectly balanced cup of lighter-bodied coffee.

Starbucks Blonde Roast is offered in two blends:

Starbucks Veranda Blend
This Latin American blend combines the delicate nuances of soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts. When brewed, this coffee’s mellow and soft fl avors, as well as its light body and medium acidity, truly shine. For the full coffee experience, enjoy this blend with foods that highlight nuts or milk chocolate. Starbucks Veranda Blend will also be available in Starbucks VIA Ready Brew.

Starbucks Willow Blend
Described as bright and clean, this blend of Latin American
and East African coffees offer subtle citrus flavors, creating a breezy, easy-to-drink cup. With light body and high acidity, Starbucks Willow Blend is a great complement to foods that have a hint of citrus flavors, such as lemon pound cake.
