AKARTA: Newlyweds singer Audy Item and actor Iko Uwais may have to spend three months apart in the near future despite only recently tying the knot.
Iko has signed a contract that requires him to go to the United States.
“God willing, I will bring [Audy to the US]. If there are no obstacles and sufficient money, I will take her,” Iko said on Monday after the couple exchanged wedding vows, as quoted by Tempo.co.
The 29-year-old actor has starred in action movies Merantau and The Raid, which established him as one of the country’s leading action actors. Audy has released five albums.
