ALI: On the sidelines of his tight schedule during the two-day APEC Ministerial Meeting, Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan allotted some time on Saturday to visit the media center at the plush Nusa Dua compound.
'Could we do the press briefing while I am having a massage?' Gita joked with the journalists when he was told that the center provided a massage service.
After the press briefing, Gita spent a few minutes touring the media center and checking its facilities.
'It is excellent. I heard we can even download movies in just a few hours [due to the high speed internet access],' he said.
Gita further said that the center would serve as a test case for another event hosted by Indonesia, the World Trade Organization (WTO) ministerial conference, in December.
Some journalists also took the chance to complain about the poor shuttle bus service. 'We will tell the organizer about this,' Gita promised.
