JAKARTA: Hollywood actress Sarah Carter says that she agreed to join an Indonesian film production, titled Guardian, just because she was interested in visiting the country.
'Usually, I'm interested to come to filming locations that I have never been to, and Indonesia is on my list,' said Carter in a statement quoted by tribunnews.com.
The Toronto-born actress who had a role in Final Destination 2 will act with Indonesians Dominique Diyose, Tio Pakusadewo, Belinda Camesi, Ganindra Bimo and Nino Fernandez under the direction of Helfi Kardit.
In the film, Carter will play Paquita, a girl coming from an American family who is being raised in a dangerous neighborhood.
'I like the character and I'm sure I can pull it off in this [drama-action genre] film because I have experience in an action movie, which was produced in China,' she added.
Guardian is set to be released in Indonesia on April 30.
