Actress Andriani Marshanda says she has filed for divorce from presenter Ben Kasyafani at the Central Jakarta Religious Court.

'€œThat'€™s right,'€ Marshanda said as quoted by tribunnews.com when asked about the matter.

The 24-year-old sinetron star said the breakup was due to irreconcilable differences, declining to elaborate.

She said the couple had decided to live apart for a month before the divorce to avoid incessant fighting.

'€œWe'€™ve been living separately so we can think clearly. We want to cool things down first so we can make a wise decision,'€ Marshanda said.

Marshanda and Ben, who tied the knot in April 2012, have a 1-year-old daughter, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani.
