Actress Andriani Marshanda says she has filed for divorce from presenter Ben Kasyafani at the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
'That's right,' Marshanda said as quoted by tribunnews.com when asked about the matter.
The 24-year-old sinetron star said the breakup was due to irreconcilable differences, declining to elaborate.
She said the couple had decided to live apart for a month before the divorce to avoid incessant fighting.
'We've been living separately so we can think clearly. We want to cool things down first so we can make a wise decision,' Marshanda said.
Marshanda and Ben, who tied the knot in April 2012, have a 1-year-old daughter, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani.
