Located strategically featuring outstanding facilities, Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran stands out from the crowd.
Intercontinental Hotels Group's (IHG) Holiday Inn in Jakarta is the perfect fit for both business and leisure stay.
Location is one thing. At the heart of the Kemayoran area, the newly opened Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran is in walking distance to the 18-hole Bandar Kemayoran Golf course and only a stone's throw away from the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo).
Its grand ballroom, the largest in the Kemayoran area, can accommodate up to 1,800 people. The 1,374 square-meter Angsana Grand Ballroom can be divided into three rooms, each of which can accommodate up to 300 people with pillar less, latest audio-visual equipment and a hi-tech mood lighting ceiling.
Coupled with a complete suite function room set-up and a team of event specialists, the grand ballroom is an ideal venue for various types of gatherings, from wedding receptions to seminars.
The grand ballroom has already hosted several events, including the most recent debate of Indonesian presidential candidates Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Prabowo Subianto.
For smaller events, the Cendana function room is a good fit for social gatherings as it can house up to 180 guests. This room can also be split into three function rooms, each fitting up to 70 people. For those seeking to hold private gatherings, the Mahogany and Ebony function rooms can each fit up to 40 people, or opt for the Papyrus boardroom that seats 20.
The hotel is an 'A' list venue for MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions).
Nevertheless, those traveling for leisure, including families, will find the hotel a fun getaway, as it is adjacent to a plethora of shopping, dining and entertainment destinations. Just hop on the highway for a short drive to the culinary havens of Kelapa Gading or Mangga Dua, one of the biggest shopping areas in Southeast Asia.
For more attractions, take another short drive to Ancol Dreamland, the country's largest tourist area featuring a myriad of fun activities, from beachside dining to art scene exploration at Taman Seni (Art Park).
Families with children will enjoy rides and attractions at Fantasy World (Dufan), the country's largest amusement park. Or spend the day at Sea World to learn about the ocean's fascinating animals.
Green features
Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran has been built with a 'Green Building' concept in mind, thereby enabling better performance across all metrics.
The application of the concept includes optimizing electricity efficiency with energy-saving lamps. This is demonstrated through the use of LEDs in all areas. Other sustainable green features are water efficiency implemented through rainwater harvesting methods, solarhart panel for its water heater and waste management through an innovative Sewage Treatment Plan (STP).
As more people, including Indonesians, are becoming more concerned about the environment, sustainable development has become the priority of many developers, with many developments mushrooming across the city highlighting green features.
The hotel's green building aims to save energy, water and waste; cut carbon emissions, and reduce operating and maintenance costs. To maintain its international standards, the hotel's green building concept also ensures comfort for guests.

IHG, one of the world's biggest hospitality companies, knows that offering the comfort of a five-star accommodation is a must.
Comfortable mattresses, LED TVs, showers equipped in all the hotel's 257 rooms, are just the standard facilities that one can find at other premium hotels. But what sets the hotel's rooms apart from the rest are their spacious workspaces.
High-speed Internet, an infinity pool, a health club and a private parking area surely make one's stay more comfortable. The hotel also has three F&B outlets for guests to enjoy: Botany All Day Dining, Habitat Lounge and Infinity Pool and Bar.
While the Habitat Lounge breathes a laidback atmosphere for coffee chat, the Infinity Pool and Bar is a great venue to grab a bite to eat while sipping cocktails by the pool overlooking the city's view.
Ever since the hotel opened its doors to the public, Botany All Day Dining has become a popular culinary destination in the northern Jakarta area.
Located in the lobby, the restaurant serves local and international fare. Design wise, Botany boasts a contemporary look, dominated by warm sandy colors and accentuated by unique decorative elements.
