Pop band Noah vocalist Ariel may be a seasoned performer but that doesn'€™t mean he doesn'€™t get a little nervous each time he takes the stage in his hometown of Bandung, West Java.

'€œEvery time I perform in Bandung I feel nervous and at times I lose my voice on stage,'€ Ariel was quoted as saying by Tribunnews.com.

He said he got so nervous during the band'€™s concert at TransStudio in Bandung on Saturday that he had to ask the audience to sing most of the songs.

Ariel even asked band mate Boi to replace him for the song '€œDara'€ (Girl) while he switched to guitar.

Ariel rose to fame with Bandung-based pop band Peter Pan during mid-2000. After a sex scandal, the band disbanded and some of its members established Noah.
