T XL Axiata (XL) launched an online community forum called Xplor Forum on Wednesday as a trusted reference for its customers and the public in sharing information, solutions and ideas.
Through the forum, XL hopes that it can reach its customers and the public better. The Xplor Forum is targeting 1 million visitors in the first year.
The forum, which already has 3,000 members, is divided into several sections where users can discuss topics relevant to categories such as photography, movies, technology, cuisine, games and sports.
Members of the forum would be moderated by eight administrators from XL in charge of filtering spam posts on the forum and accommodating members' ideas that might be followed up with kopi darat (in-person meetings).
According to Rashad Javier Sanchez, XL's chief brand and customer experience officer, the forum would be a place where customers and the public could post their ideas and aspiration about XL's products.
In the future, XL will launch trading categories (FJB) under the Xplor Forum, where people can sell goods related to the communities' hobbies. XL will also provide its products in the categories. The forum can be accessed at xplor.id.
