Indonesia's women volleyball team won 3-0 against the Philippines on Wednesday morning, in a match that has been marred by a gender row between the two teams.
The scoreline was 25-22, 25-20 and 25-13 for an Indonesian victory, as reported by the 2015 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Singapore official website.
On Tuesday, the Philippines team had asked the SEA Games organizing committee to carry out gender tests on Indonesia's female volleyball player Aprilia Santini Manganang.
AFP reported on Tuesday that the request was made because the Philippines team suspected that Aprilia was a man due to her physical strength.
There are no updates about the result of the test, but the SEA Games website said Aprilia did feature in the match. (ika)
