Your comments on the Trigana tragedy that killed 54 people, including crew members, in Oksibil in Papua on Sunday and the recovery of victims and of the aircraft's fuselage:
There is nothing wrong with ATR turboprop aircraft. I think it is a suitable aircraft for terrain such as that in Papua. Pilots flying over there have to be disciplined.

My deepest condolences to the families and victims of the crash of Trigana Air flight IL 267 in Papua.
Learning from that accident, flight safety should be a priority. Safety related to people, procedure and technology.
People, in this case pilots, must be physically and mentally fit for a flight. A regular medical checkup is a must. Regarding procedure, ground staff and airport security personnel should able to detect potential risks that could endanger a flight.
Regarding technology, an airline company should regularly overhaul its fleet and continually upgrade its flight instruments to detect any potential hazard. It could be difficult and expensive in the beginning, but when it comes to flight safety there is no room for error.

Trigana Air has contributed to air transportation in the country's eastern region. I think it is heroic the way some struggle to forge widespread communication and transportation across the archipelago to overcome the isolation of people in remote areas.
The government should pay greater attention to this tragedy so that the crew's sacrifice is not in vain.
I suggest that routes between airports be marked by beacons that could be easily followed by pilots from their cockpits, guiding them comfortably to their respective destinations. I think this effort would be worthwhile in our growing areas in Papua, West Papua, Maluku and Kalimantan.

Regarding the handling by rescuers of the accident: Why do some rescuers look as if they have gained weight when leaving the crash site? Rescuers should speed up the rescue operation to avoid bad weather.

Hmmmm? Arithmetic! Rp 6.5 billion '¦ OK. '6,000 people... Each family was to receive Rp 600,000 ... 6,000 times Rp 600,000 equals Rp 3.6 billion!
But the plane was carrying 6.5 billion! So that's Rp 3.6 billion for the PSKS program and Rp 2.9 billion for ...? Does anybody know?
