Guess what?: Indra Birowo tries his hand at film directing

Kapanlagi.com

Presenter and comedian Indra Birowo will mark his debut as a film director with the upcoming release of his film, entitled Lily Bunga Terakhirku (Lily my last flower).

Indra hopes the film, a dark romance that stars TV actor Baim Wong and model Salvita Decorte, will be warmly greeted by film lovers.

'€œFilm is a form of media to share, a personal statement from the filmmaker that can provide different experiences to the audience. Lily Bunga Terakhirku hopefully can provide an extraordinary experience to the viewers,'€ he said.

The film centers on Tura (Baim), a little boy traumatized after witnessing his mother being raped and killed by criminals. The protagonist later dedicates his life to avenging her death.

As a new director, Indra said he had faced various challenges during filming, from unfriendly weather to the tough editing process. '€œFortunately for me, the actors and crew were experienced so I felt more confident during filming.'€
