Guess what?: Atiek CB works in US retail

Kapanlagi.com

Singer Atiek CB, 52, who was famous in the 1980s, has been living in the US for 13 years and she says she has left her singing career behind.

Atiek said that she worked part-time in a clothing store while living a homemaker.

'€œI work when my kids are at school. I work three to four hours per day. I took on a part time retail position in a clothing store because I like clothes,'€ Atiek said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Atiek said that she occasionally sang if she was invited to do so by the Indonesian Embassy in the US or other Indonesian communities there.

'€œI sometimes sing on Aug. 17, Indonesian Independence Day, or during Indonesian diaspora events,'€ she said.

'€œI don'€™t think I want to revive my singing career in the US. There are a lot of good singers there,'€ she added.
