Letter to the editor: Wood MacKenzie denies

W

e have come across an article published by The Jakarta Post on Nov. 2 by Mr. Madjedi Hasan titled '€œOptimizing Masela block development is possible'€.

The article cites the following, '€œWood MacKenzie estimates that FLNG could meet 5.5 percent of global LNG demand by 2020 and exceed 10 percent by 2025.'€

This number is incorrect and has been attributed to us without our permission.

We would ask that if you wish to reference Wood Mackenzie in the future, please do come to us and we'€™ll be more than happy to verify any estimates.
