op band Nidji vocalist Giring Ganesha, 32, says that he has quit eating rice regularly. Consuming rice could put his health at risk, said Giring, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
'I like to eat other kinds of foods when we are on tour,' Giring said.
'Therefore, my body is less tolerant to rice. I often feel sick if I eat rice,' he added.
Giring said that he had been avoiding rice since last year because he had grown uncomfortable with the way he looked. 'I was feeling really down. I ate a lot and did not work out much. I no longer felt confident looking in the mirror,' he said.
'Fortunately, my wife told me to start watching what I ate, workout more get enough sleep,' he added.
