After launching its services in Kediri, East Java in early February, internet service provider Biznet held a music festival on Saturday with performances from Den Basito and Andra and The Backbone.
Dubbed Biznet Festival Kediri 2016, the event was held at Lapangan Brimob Kediri and featured a local band competition, festival booths and games with attractive prizes, in addition to music performances. Those who registered for Biznet services during the festival were given various promotional offers. Biznet president director Adi Kusma said Kediri was one of East Java's primary cities for Biznet in terms of network expansion.
"Kediri is not only the third-biggest city in East Java but it also has huge potential to become one of Java's most developed cities," said Adi in a press release on Saturday.
Biznet officially launched business and retail services in Kediri on Feb. 10. For the business sector, the company provides Biznet Metronet, which targets small and medium enterprises with a package option starting from 10 megabits per second (Mbps) and priced at Rp 700,000 (US$53) per month.
As for retail services, including housing and apartment consumers, the company is offering Biznet Home Internet with packages starting from 10 Mbps and priced at Rp 200,000 per month.
Established more than 15 years ago, the company's fiber-optic infrastructure currently covers over 15,000 kilometers in more than 70 cities in Java, Bali, Batam and Sumatra. (kes)(+)
