Coordinating Economic Minister Darmin Nasution said on Wednesday that Indonesian economic growth started at 4.7 percent in the first quarter of last year and ended with 5 percent.
"[This year] we started with 4.9 percent in the first quarter, and we expect to grow to 5.2 percent in the last quarter," he asserted, adding the average economic growth would stand at 5.1 percent.
The government has released 12 economic packages since September last year, aiming to boost the country’s economy.
Darmin said the government would soon issue a 13th package, focusing on residential properties for low-income families. (dan)
