AKARTA: Actress Julie Estelle loves playing in action movies, even though fight scenes still present her with a challenge.

In her latest action flick, Headshot, Julie performs all of the fight scenes herself — no stuntwoman needed.

“The adrenaline from performing fight scenes makes me addicted to playing in action films,” Julie said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Julie added that she needed to practice the choreography for the fight scenes thoroughly, so that she could show convincing movements.

In the past, Julie appeared on screen as Hammer Girl in The Raid: Berandal (Thugs). The character’s weapon of choice in that movie is a pair of hammers. In Headshot, meanwhile, she fights bare handed.

“The fighting style is far more complex, and I needed three weeks to practice,” she said. — JP
