The meeting will take place at the State Palace at 2 p.m., according to a statement from the Presidential Press Bureau sent to journalists on Monday, no detailed information has been provided about the topic of the meeting.
Meanwhile, Jokowi will also lead a meeting on management of the state civil apparatus in the presidential office at 3 p.m. The president’s schedule then continues with a limited Cabinet meeting at 4 p.m. on the preparation of the 18th Asian Games.
Two cities, Jakarta and Palembang, will serve as hosts for the regional multi-sporting event scheduled to take place in September 2018. The government is currently pushing for the completion of facilities to support the prestigious event, such as building and renovating sports arenas, public transportation and the athletes compound.
