he Jakarta administration on Saturday provided mobile electronic identity cards (e-KTPs) and other civil document services to the victims of a recent fire that broke out early Tuesday night, ravaging an area in Central Jakarta.

The head of the Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registry Agency, Remon Masadian, said civil documents for about 65 families had been published through the mobile service. Previously, the agency, helped by local neighborhoods, had validated and verified the data of the victims.
“As long as they are in our database, we can publish the documents,” Remon said as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
The city administration had also provided aid and assistance to the victims through several agencies. The Jakarta Social Agency provided supplies and counselors to assist the victims on Wednesday. (kkk/ary)
