angerang police have arrested a 22-year old angkot (public minivan) driver, identified only as SBH, as the sole suspect in a hit-and-run attack on an online ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday.
The victim is currently in a coma at an army hospital in Jakarta and security has been heightened in Tangerang to prevent brawls between angkot and online ojek drivers.
The angkot driver reportedly hit the ojek driver after thousands of angkot drivers in the city staged a rally to protest against online ojek services.

Police arrested the suspect on Thursday evening after officers questioned the owner of the angkot.
"SBH was hired as a reserve driver. [He claims] he was angry at online ojek drivers because his income had slumped. He did it deliberately," Tangerang Police chief Sr. Comr. Harry Kurniawan told The Jakarta Post. (dan)
