he International Champions Cup (ICC), a series of friendly exhibition tournaments, will make its debut in Singapore this year with three matches set to be held from July 25 to 29 at the National Stadium.
The Singapore round will feature English Premier League’s Chelsea FC, German Bundesliga’s FC Bayern Munich and Italian Serie A’s FC Internazionale Milano.
Kicking off on July 25, Chelsea will play Bayern, in a rematch of the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final, which Chelsea won 4-3 on penalties. The 2016 EUFA Champions League winner, Bayern, will take on Inter on July 27. The Italian club famously completed the treble with its 2–0 win against Bayern in the 2010 UEFA Champions League Final.
The third and final game of the tournament will see Inter versus Chelsea on July 29.
The Singapore edition is the third series of the tournament after United States and China. The US round is held on July 20 to 30, while China is on July 18 to 24. Visit internationalchampionscup.com for more information on the event.
