Monas turning blue for World Autism Awareness Day

o commemorate World Autism Awareness Day, the Jakarta administration has bathed the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta in blue light.
The blue lamps will illuminate the monument until April 30.
"This represents the administration’s awareness of the campaign. We also have prepared colorful lamps in the area," said Sabdo Kurnianto, the head of the monument's management unit, as quoted by beritajakarta.com on Monday.
The administration once set Monas ablaze with the color orange for a campaign to raise awareness around the problem of violence against women.
To commemorate World Alzheimer’s Month, Monas was bathed in a purple color. (agn/wit)
