View all search resultsoekarno-Hatta International Airport in Banten started operating a second long-term parking lot on the west side of the airport on Thursday in preparation for the upcoming Idul Fitri mudik (exodus) and the school holidays.
Presently, the lot can accommodate 400 vehicles. “We need to add more spaces as there will be a spike in the number of passengers during Ramadhan,” Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin said as quoted by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
The airport only had one long-term parking lot on the east side, but it had surpassed its capacity of 1,000 vehicles.
The new lot is located near the office area, which will be close to the airport’s train station and the Skytrain once they are built. (dev)
