ndonesia’s Praveen Jordan and Debby Susanto remain undefeated at the 2017 Australian Open badminton tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals.

The world’s number six pair defeated Singapore’s Hee Yong Kai Terry and Tan Wei Han 21-6, 21-12 within 25 minutes of match during Wednesday’s second round.

On Friday, Praveen and Debby will face Malaysia’s Chan Peng Soon and Cheah Yee See, who earned a quarterfinal spot after beating Indonesian qualifiers Hendra Tandjaya and Putri Sekartaji 21-10, 21-5.

Meanwhile, men’s singles favorite Anthony Sinisuka Ginting failed to repeat last year’s success over China’s Chen Long in the open following his Wednesday 21-10, 21-13 defeat.

In the 2016 runoff, Anthony stunned Long 21-14, 21-17.

Chen, who earned a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, wasn’t an easy opponent, said Anthony.

“I tried to seek points from netting, but he was so calm. I couldn’t find a loophole to shut him down. It turned out that I failed to handle my own emotions,” Anthony said in a statement.
