A

n online motorcycle taxi driver, Oki Suriyanto, 39, has died after falling unconscious in front of a church in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Friday.

South Jakarta Police Sabhara rapid response unit chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Burhanudin explained that Oki just fell unconscious in front of the HKBP church

"Our personnel found the unconscious driver when they were securing a rally [in the vicinity]," Burhanudin said in a text message, adding that the police officer rushed the man to Siloam Hospital in Semanggi, South Jakarta, but his life could not be saved. 

"The church security personnel, who also witnessed the incident, said Oki stopped for a while in front of a stall to buy medicine. He said that his stomach hurt," Burhanuddin stated. (vny)
