View all search resultsix infrastructure construction projects passing Transjakarta bus lanes have caused the buses to lose up to 20,000 passengers, an official has said.
“The buses could previously accommodate up to 430,000 passengers, but now they can only accommodate about 410,000,” Jakarta Transportation Agency deputy head Sigit Wijatmoko told reporters on Tuesday as quoted by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
Therefore, he said, the agency is making efforts to improve the Transjakarta lane, including by modifying the routes.
The agency has also deployed 222 officers to some lanes so that no other vehicles will drive on the busway lanes. (ecn)
