resident of Tambelang in Bekasi, West Java, was killed on Monday after being struck by a trailer truck while riding her motorcycle.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Amelia.

 “According to witnesses, the victim was riding a new motorcycle, indicated by the absence of a plate number. While traveling east on Jl. Raya Cilincing, her motorcycle was knocked over by a trailer truck,” Cilincing Police chief Comr. Ali Zusron said in a statement as quoted by kompas.com.

The driver of the truck fled the scene and remains at large. (fac)
