amai Putra Group, the developer of the Kota Harapan Indah housing area in Bekasi, West Java, aims to increase its marketing sales value by more than 56 percent this year to Rp 1.25 trillion (US$93 million).
Last year, it recorded Rp 800 billion in marketing sales, according to Damai Putra Group president Johannes Mardjuki.
He believed the company would be able to reach its target even despite the simultaneous regional elections in June, which usually prompts businesspeople to take a wait-and-see approach.
“As we have set our strategies, we are confident that we can achieve our targets this year,” he told kontan.co.id on Saturday.
He added that Damai Putra expected to meet 50 percent of its marketing sales target by selling new housing clusters and through the launch of four or five projects this year within the existing Kota Harapan Indah area.
However, he did not specify how many housing units the company will build.

Aside from launching new residential clusters, the company has plans for more projects in Kota Harapan Indah to start either this year or early 2019 to boost recurring income, such as from malls and hotels. (dpk/gda)
