man in Bekasi, West Java, has been arrested on suspicion of intending to traffic 32.6 grams of crystal meth that he hid inside empty coffee packets, a toilet cleaner bottle and a toothpaste tube.
Jakarta Police spokesman Comr. Argo Yuwono said on Thursday that narcotics officers arrested Heriyanto, 27, in front of the BCA building in Kemang Pratama residential complex.
“The police arrested the suspect on Monday at around 3 p.m. and confiscated sabu-sabu [crystal meth],” Argo said on Thursday as reported by tribunnews.com.
Argo said the police received reports from residents that alleged drug transactions were frequently conducted in front of the bank.
The police confiscated a plastic Kapal Api coffee packet containing 7.5 grams of sabu-sabu in three zipper bags from the suspect as evidence, Argo said.
They also confiscated one Kapal Api packet containing 6.5 grams of sabu-sabu in three zipper bags, one Kapal Api packet containing 6.1 grams of sabu in zipper bags inside three KISS candy bags, 100 empty zipper bags inside a Kapal Api packet and a Samsung cell phone.
Argo said the police raided Heriyanto’s house in Griya Family residential complex in Kalapa Nunggal, Bogor, West Java, and confiscated a WPC toilet cleaner bottle containing 11.8 grams of sabu in 12 zipper bags and 0.8 grams of sabu in a zipper bag inside a Pepsodent toothpaste tube that had been emptied.
“The police confiscated a total of 32.6 grams of sabu as evidence,” Argo said. (ami)
