P

olice in Bogor, West Java, are continuing to question witnesses and have deployed canine units following the discovery of the body of a 6-year-old girl in a sack in a plantation area in Cibinong last Tuesday.

Having interrogated 10 people last week, four more witnesses were questioned on Saturday night in relation to the child’s death.

“We questioned neighbors who lived in the same alleyway,” said Joko Bandung, the neighborhood unit (RT) head, on Sunday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Joko said a number of police officers were still patrolling around the scene where the girl’s body was found near her home.

The girl’s parents had filed a missing person report with the Bogor Police on Monday. They filed the report at 10 p.m. when their daughter had not returned home after leaving the house to play at noon on the same day. (roi/evi)
