DJ and actor Eza Gionino says he has officially married his girlfriend, Meiza “Echa” Aulia.

The marriage, however, came with mixed emotions for Eza because his mother, Ruch Gaya, did not approve of his decision.

“This [marriage] is quite nerve-racking to talk about because of all the situations right now,” Eza said as quoted by tribunnews.com during a press conference in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, on Monday.

Eza added that the wedding had taken place on Monday and hoped that one day, his mother would accept his wife.

“Please do not talk bad about my mother even if she does not support my marriage,” the 28-year-old Eza said.

“She is still my mom. Until the end of time, she will always be my mom,” he added.
