The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) is looking for millennials to fill positions in its Jakarta chapter.

The party is holding an open recruitment program to find people to become party administrators of its Jakarta chapter. It will then select the best candidates based on their competence, who will then be included in the party’s talent pool to be prepared as deputy chief, secretary or treasurer for PSI Jakarta.

Recruitment is only open to people aged 17 to 45 years who have never served as an administrator in another party.

“With this open recruitment and selection system, we can try to produce party members who are competent in their own field,” PSI Jakarta spokesman Andi Anggana said in a statement on Friday, adding that the party wanted to regain the public's trust.

Established in 2014 by former journalist Grace Natalie, the party is building the image of a clean and youthful political party by recruiting young and fresh figures that never have been involved in politics, such as Nidji frontman Giring Ganesha, former news anchor Isyana Bagoes Oka and activist Tsamara Amany.
