he Jakarta administration has implemented a penalty amnesty for vehicle taxes (PKB), vehicle ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) and urban and rural land and building taxes (PBB-P2) from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15.
“The penalty amnesty is to be given to the taxes that were due within the period from 2013 to 2017,” Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency acting head Faisal Syafruddin said, kompas.com reported.
The program has been put into effect by Decree No. 2315/2018 issued by the head of the Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD).
Jakarta residents can pay the PKB and BBN-KB at all Vehicle Document Registration Center (Samsat) offices and outlets or through an ATM.
Meanwhile, PBB-P2 can be paid through banks and ATMs. (cal)
