man was killed in a traffic accident after falling from his motorcycle and being run over by a truck on Jl. Raya Bekasi KM 23 in Cakung, East Jakarta, on Friday.
Sahirhanani, 57, reportedly fell from his bike at 7 p.m. because of the slippery road following some rain.
“The victim died at the scene,” said East Jakarta Police traffic unit chief Adj. Comr. Agus, as quoted by kompas.com.
Agus went on saying that Sahirhanani’s body had been taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in Central Jakarta.
“The truck driver, meanwhile, is currently at our office to be questioned,” he added. (vla)
