Honda Indonesia announces virtual design competition winners

The winning design injects a more youthful energy into the Honda Brio.

T Honda Prospect Motor has announced its best virtual designer competition winner, who creatively modified the Honda Brio’s design. The trophy went to M. Haekal Shafi of Tangerang, Banten. 

Haekal’s design was deemed the boldest from 789 whole designs submitted from all over the country during the two-month competition, from May 11 until July 31. As the champion, Haekal will be awarded Rp 15 million. Second place was awarded to Deden Desmahikmawan, who will get Rp 10 million. M. Riyo Rizal Widhanto, who claimed third place, will get Rp 7 million for his design.

Aside from the three winners, best decal was won by Pranoyo Aditya, who will be awarded Rp 5 million. M. Azra won the social media favorite category, earning him a Rp 3 million prize. 

Honda Prospect Motor business innovation and sales and marketing director Yusak Billy praised all the winners, saying that the competition, which is in its third year, has attracted many virtual designers.

“Aside from the rising number of participants, we have also witnessed improved design quality from all participants,” Yusak said in a press statement Wednesday.

National Modificator and Aftermarket Association founder Andre Mulyadi acknowledged that Haekal’s design had managed to inject a more youthful energy into the Honda Brio.
