ifteen-year-old Indonesian swimmer Elysha Chloe Pribadi has ended the year on a good note after winning two medals at the 2020 McDonald's Queensland Championships in Australia.

Elysha nabbed two bronze medals at the state-level championship, which took place at the Brisbane Aquatic Center in Queensland from Dec. 12 to 18.

She participated in five competitive categories for 15-year-olds and managed to reach the finals in all of them.

She came in third in the girls' 100- and 200-meter breaststroke, clocking times of 01:13.64 and 02:39.46, respectively.

Elysha also broke personal records in two other categories: the girls' 200-meter individual medley with a time of 02:24.37 and the girls’ 100-meter freestyle with a time of 59.36 seconds. She placed fourth and seventh in the respective races.

Despite bringing home medals, Elysha was not quite satisfied with her results, saying they were not her “best performances”.

"Overall, I don't feel satisfied with my results because they were not my best. These results will serve as an end-of-year evaluation for me so that I can prepare myself even better in 2021," she said in a statement received by The Jakarta Post on Monday.

"I learned a lot from this physically and mentally challenging event. I am quite happy to be able to enter the finals in all five competitions I participated in and to be able to compete with the best swimmers in Queensland," she added.

Despite her dissatisfaction with her own results, Elysha said she was very happy with her club's achievements in the championships.

"I am very proud that my club, St. Peters Western, managed to become the state champion and the 2020 champion club in this event," she said.

In August and September, Elysha broke three national records at two championships in Brisbane in the girls’ 50-meter, 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke.

In September, Elysha clocked a time of 02:37.56 in the 200-meter breaststroke at the 2020 McDonald’s QLD Short Course Championship to win silver and smash a 14-year-old national record previously set by Felicia Tjandra in 2006 with a time of 02:42.66.

At the same event, she broke the previous national record of 01:10.57 set by Ressa Kania Dewi in 2019 in the girls' 100-meter breaststroke category.

In August, Elysha broke the 50-meter national breaststroke record while competing in the 2020 Speedo Short Course Meet on Aug. 29, clocking in at 33.12 seconds to beat the 2013 record of 33.61 seconds set by Margareta Kreptadani.
