WhatsApp extends service for BlackBerry users
WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned instant messaging service, has extended its support for the Blackberry OS platforms. The decision was made as more of a nod to long-time BlackBerry users that owned handhelds supported by BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 operating systems.

Blackberry warns users of scams
Amid the news of Blackberry’s plans to discontinue its hardware production, the smartphone maker has alerted its users to the growing number of scams carried out via the BBM app. Jann Yip, marketing and communications of BBM issued a release, giving BBM users tips on what to watch out for when receiving strange messages in the app.
